Historic Paranormal Penlight Tour

Third Saturday in October

This is a fairly new fundraiser for the Branch County Historical Society.  The Society raises money to help with the maintainence and utilities for the Wing House Museum.  The Historic Paranormal Tour is put together by a committee.  It is typically in the evening on the 3rd Saturday in October.  The Southern Michigan Paranormal Group investigates the locations that will be on tour previous to the event.  The evening of the event give a brief presentation about the locations and their findings.  Then we hand out the penlights and split into groups to investigate these historical properties in the Coldwater Country area.  A fun and insightful evening for all to attend.

Victorian Wassail

First Saturday in December

The Wing House Museum will open it's doors for their annual holiday Wassail. They will offer scrumptious desserts, coffee and tea to patrons for a nominal fee. This is an annual fundraiser for the Branch County Historical Society.  The home is dressed for the festivities with a Christmas tree in every room.  Make this a family tradition for your holidays.  A Wassail is a salutation toast to health made during festivities.
